hi, so danielle is totally right in what she is saying about mac NOT being cruelty free. Mac is owned by estee lauder which test on animals and maybe mac dont test the finished product eg. mascara on puppies, rabbits, kittens etc. but the ingredients definitely get tested in their eyes. skin. etc... so suzanne perhaps you would like to amend and update your post regarding mac. thanks

Sorry Sue, but any brand that sells in China cannot be considered cruelty free. It's a great thing to say they are spearheading the movement against animal testing but if this was true then MAC would pull out of the Chinese market until their mandatory testing laws are changed, and not put profit before ethics. There's so many other brilliant brands who GENUINELY are cruelty free so there's no excuse for MAC at all. As an animal lover I really thought you'd want to support the seriously cruelty free brands, not just the ones who claim to be.
